On September 29, a new "Passport Service" was opened in Odessa. On the opening day, visitors wishing to obtain a foreign biometric passport began to queue starting 4 am.
The “Kadorr” shopping and office center on 27/1 Katerynynska Street in Odessa significantly strengthened the service component of tenant mix with another anchor tenant. A new "Passport Service" was opened here occupying 380 square meters on the 4th floor in the office part of the building.
The fact that Odessa was eagerly awaiting the opening of the first "Passport Service" was proven by the number of visitors on the first day of work. However, the queue disappeared two hours after the start of the working day, because the well-established maintenance scheme, the worked out technological and logistical processes have already proved themselves in other cities. The throughput capacity of the new service center is up to 400 applicants per day.
The transaction was brokered by international consulting company Cushman & Wakefield, who represented the interests of the landlord, in the introduction of the “Passport Service” and advising the landlord on commercial, lease and technical matters.
Nick Cotton, Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield in Ukraine (formerly trading as DTZ), commented:
"The introduction of a visa-free access and a steep increase in demand for passport services provoked the rapid development of the network. “Kadorr” in Odessa is not the first mall where “Passport Service” has opened operations. Kharkiv branch is located in "Ave Plaza". Recently in Kyiv, the “Passport Service” moved from Taras Shevchenko Avenue to the SC “Ukraiina”. Shopping centers are ideal for companies providing services for people, primarily due to the presence of all related infrastructure for a comfortable pastime”.
